Writing an "about me" section has been a big challenge for me. I’m a nightmare as I’ve done a bit of everything over the last 24 years! I’m not quite a “Jack of all trades and a master of none” as having lived in the worlds of a Recruitment Agency business, an Outsourcing Solutions business, and my own independent Consulting business, I genuinely have worked across a broad spectrum of operations.
I collided with the world of recruitment by accident, being hired by a business who wanted a language graduate looking to set up an operation in Brussels. I fell in love from day one and remain impassioned by how recruitment professionals can support businesses to achieve their corporate objectives via the engagement and hiring of the right people.
Recruitment has previously been under respected as a profession, and by that I mean, when someone needs Finance support they go to Finance, when someone needs Legal support they go to Legal, but when someone needs Recruitment support - everyone becomes an expert in Recruiting. Thankfully, times have changed and businesses the globe over, now recognise that Talent Acquisition & Resourcing holds its own place in the professional world and is a function that is not only required but business critical.
I have been extremely fortunate to work with many amazing businesses (too many to name them all!) but CAP Gemini, Thales, BAE Systems, Morrisons, Four Seasons Healthcare, Capco, Amazon, and Chelsea Football Club all feature in my list.
Projects have ranged from straight forward recruitment programmes of work to secondment projects; recruitment supply chain & procurement, international healthcare resource programmes and government driven employability & hiring. Additionally, I have supported both the transition of outsourcing services from one provider to another, to the building of an entirely new service contractor solution.

M&C Saatchi PR - working with the Executive team and reporting to the Global CEO, I drove and developed talent and retention initiatives across all offices globally. This included setting up offices in multiple markets, search and selection, contract development, onboarding, entry-level programme, (design and management) L&D and D&I initiatives and developing the employer brand.
BCW - within a Global Communications agency I led all Talent Acquisition activity from strategic design to delivery for Cohn & Wolfe and AxiCom in London, with strategic support for key hires across Europe.

Deloitte - People leadership of UK wide team and enhancement of overall solution by integrating business intelligence services and delivering on continuous improvement projects during the transition to a 3rd extension of RPO services.
Citi - People Leadership of operational delivery team on a 1st generation RPO/Investment Banking solution, we managed 2000+ experienced hires per year, pre GFC during 2007/8. Enabled early adoption in offshoring sourcing and administration services to Poland. Once the global financial crisis hit the industry, the team was rightsized and restructured to ensure an efficient and commercially viable delivery model, via on and offsite resource and services.

AXA - For large financial services clients I implemented a MSP solution, completing this project within 3 months. For the UK, the MSP solution involved transitioning over 120 contingent workers from AXA and transitioning third party workers, implementing a new timesheet system and new processes across over 1000 HM.
KMPG - Acting as Recruitment Project Manager to expand an RPO solution across 4 more divisions, with c1000 hires per year, this project was completed within 3 months. The project included hiring 30 new on site staff, remapping and improving the process and implementing an improved governance process.
Barclays - As part of an implemented Project, I managed 11 workstreams and transitioned around 2500 contingent workers and 40 suppliers. This was delivered on time, budget and with positive feedback from all parties.
BBC - I was hired as a Programme Manager to manage a continuous improvement (CI) plan, and after 3 weeks I was asked to take over as an Account Director. I managed a team of around 70 people across 3 locations, handling 1500 roles at any time, driving process and technology improvements across the account.
